Action Movies - Ten Evergreen Ones

Action Movies - Ten Evergreen Ones

Movies are perhaps the best means of entertainment! Especially, the young generation is very fond of exciting movies and thrillers which are full of sensational moments. The incidents narrated or the scenes shown in these movies are things which most of us might have never seen in real life. For people who are fascinated with adventures, action movies can help them to have a pictorial view of terrible incidents, speedy races, dreadful explosions and horrendous wars. The sequences in the action movies are usually quite captivating, as they keep the viewers completely immersed in the course of actions. World's popular film hub, Hollywood has presented some of the most brilliant action movies, which are still very popular. Of all action movies produced till now, some of the evergreen ones which have become legends include "Lawrence of Arabia," "Apocalypse Now," "Paths of Glory," "The Bridge on the River Kwai," "All Quiet on the Western Front," "Platoon," "Saving Private Ryan," "Kill Bill, " "Star Wars Trilogy," and "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy".All this ten action movies are widely accepted by the audience till today. Films like the "Lawrence of Arabia," by reputed film maker David Leans pictures the adventurous story of an Englishman who inspired the Arabs to fight the Turks during the World War I. " Apocalypse now" is another horrendous movie which clearly pictures the chaotic situation at the time of war. The film is based on noted novelist Joseph Conrad's bestseller, " The Heart of Darkness". He magnificently depicts the story of an army captain who has been ordered to be killed in the Cambodian Jungles, because he is thought to be mad by the US military officials.Among famous action movies Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings," trilogy is a superb creation. It marvelously depicts an imaginary world. From a moral perspective too, the movie is worth seeing as it is about the fight between the good and the bad. The Star Wars Trilogy is another of the incredible action movies which was widely acclaimed by the audience. A different movie altogether. Since these movies are full of incitement, may be that is why they are so incredible.Jacob Marshal, a dedicated writer of Rupizcompare.co.uk which provide Info on Action Movies and Lawrence of ArabiaArticle Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Jacob_Marshal

It tells the story of 300 valiant Spartans who fight a ferocious battle against an insanely larger Persian army. They lose, of course, but they lose in a very impressive and heroic fashion, thus inspiring the rest of Greece to unite against the Persian menace. It's a grand story, and Frank Miller's fanciful retelling is well worth your time. Director Zack Snyder and the good folks at Warner Bros. had originally announced a March 16, 2007 release date for the film, which has been under production for some time now. Unfortunately, they have now backed down on said date, and 300 has been downgraded to a TBA 2007 release. You can hold out hope for it getting bumped up a week or two, but typically this means the film is movin' on back. Let's hope it is worth the wait. 1 Comments Tags: 300 , cinema , cinematical , comic book movies , ComicBookMovies , film , frank miller , FrankMiller Source Permalink Print this Email this Share Related Headlines The '300' Prequel / Sequel That Won't Just Go Away (19 days ago - 3 Comments) Talking 'Spirit' Posters! Adult Acne is Definitely More Serious Than Teen Acne

Adult Acne is Definitely More Serious Than Teen Acne

Many people have failed to differentiate between adult acne and teen acne. Even more have failed to even know the existence of something called "adult acne". They thought that acne would only occur in teenage hood. The fact is that adult acne has affected the lives of many working adults. About half the female adult population and 25% of the male adult population is affected by adult acne for at least once in their lifetime.Teen acne mainly comes with an oily skin; this is mainly due to the excess oil production during their puberty period. With oily skin, teenage acne can be easily treated by over-the-counters (OTC) treatment, normally with the side effects of drying up skin. However, for adult acne, it comes with dry or oily skin. For those adults who have adult acne with oily skin, finding a suitable treatment would be easy. For those adults who had adult acne with dry skin, finding the right treatment would be a headache as many over-the-counter (OTC) treatments can dry up their already dried up skin. For those adults who had dry skin, one of the solutions could be to use moisturizer frequently to moisture up their skin. Another solution is to avoid topical treatment like benzoyl peroxide and use more dry skin friendly products instead. If you are one of those adults who have dry skin and suffers from adult acne at the same time, read the acne products labels carefully before you make your next acne purchases.Besides choosing a dry skin friendly product for adult acne, treatment for teen acne and adult acne are similar. What works for you during your teenage hood acne (except for those topical treatments) may have a high chance of repeating the same success for your adult acne.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sign up for our acne e-course "STEP-BY-STEP Tips For Your Adult Acne Treatment" for FREE and you will receive FREE subscription for our newsletters. What's more, it's all available for FREE, you definitely can't miss it!Collect NOW at http://www.Adult-Acne-Tips.com"STEP-BY-STEP Tips For Your Adult Acne Treatment" provides you step by step tips and information for your acne treatment fromeducating you about types of acne, diet for acne, to acne treatment.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To read up more about freshly updated tips on adult acne and Never-Told-Before secrets about adult acne, you can visitour acne blog at http://Adult-Acne-Tips.com/blog/ There will be tons of valuable information about acne.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Ryan_Liao

Ashampoo Movie Shrink & Burn 2

As An Intuitive

As An Intuitive

As an intuitive and spiritual teacher, my mission in life has long been to guide people toward creating and experiencing the kind of lives their hearts desire. Lives that are physically grounded, emotionally creative, and intellectually engaging, where one feels loved, listened to, intuitive, inspired, and spiritually fulfilled. I not only believe this kind of life is possible, I actually believe it is our birthright and our Creator's natural plan for us. Unfortunately very few people are actually having this kind of life experience. More common are people who are feeling exhausted, overworked, overwhelmed and emotionally drained and empty. Their physical bodies are suffering, their creativity dried up, and their sense of personal direction veering way off course. Not only do many people feel seriously out of balance, they are in many cases even having what I call "out-of-body" lives where they are merely existing and barely experiencing life at all. What I share with my clients is that most of our problems can be traced to one of our seven psychic energy centers, known to the metaphysically minded as "chakras", from their Hindi term which means spinning wheel, which from an energetic perspective is what a chakra looks like. These centers are satellites of activity that govern our physical, emotional, psychic and spiritual well being. In other words, they give us the ability to not only live our lives, but to actually love them. To the rational Western mind the ideas that we are comprised of energy centers that usher in life force and assist us in channeling our expression and creativity into the physical plane seems far fetched and unlikely. And yet even our own language reveals our natural intuitive awareness of these centers and how they affect our lives. We say, for example, "He galls me!" of someone who invades our boundaries and overrides our authority. "Wow, that knocks me off my feet" of the new love interest that upsets our concentration and routine. "She has a heart of gold" of someone who opens our heart and touches us in a meaningful way. When this satellite system is balanced and operating as it is intended, we experience life in an energetically fulfilling way. We feel grounded, emotionally safe, clear in our decisions and self direction, open to giving and receiving love, effective and creative in all forms of expression, inspired, imaginative and intimately connected to our spirit, others and to God. Such a life is filled with blessings, grace synchronicities and abundant satisfaction. The key to having such lives lies in keeping these centers balanced. This may sound difficult and yet one more thing "to do" in our jam-packed existence, but in fact it really isn't, especially once you understand what throws them out of balance in the first place. . Here are some great remedies to demonstrate the principles from my latest book "True Balance: A Commonsense Guide for Renewing Your Spirit". They are practical, playful, simple--and the best part is, they work. These are not another round of .should do.s.. We all know what we .should. do, but who has the time? These are immediate and appealing remedies that you will enjoy doing, and will bring results. Your sense of security is found in the first chakra. You can tell you have a solid foundation, or first chakra, if you aren't anxious or worry much. Need a quick fix to feel grounded? Need to take a stand but feel you.re on shaky ground? Wear really good socks. You'll notice it.s impossible to have a really good day when you have a hole in your sock! When you really need to feel solid, rub Vicks VapoRub on the soles of your feet. Take a grounding walk and bring your awareness to the moment, thinking of nothing else except how you are connecting to the earth, and how it is supporting you right now. Your second chakra governs sensuality, creativity and vitality. When it is balanced you feel alive, engaged and excited by life. You feel sexy, creative and joyful. When this chakra is out of balanced you will feel depressed, tired, uninterested in sex, and basically emotionally flat. Working with clay is a favorite second chakra remedy of mine. There is something fundamentally gratifying to your sensual nature when you slap a big piece of wet slippery clay down on a hard surface and begin to shape it into something meaningful. This remedy brings out feelings and stimulates your imagination and creativity at the same time. Baking bread is another wonderful second chakra remedy. As with clay, there is something very sensually satisfying in working with dough, slapping it onto a hard surface and kneading it. . The third chakra governs personal sovereignty. When balanced you feel in charge of your life and make decisions that support you in every way. When imbalanced, you get pushed around by others. You say "yes" when you mean "no" or vice-versa, and basically feels out of control. To rebalance your third chakra, practice saying no. Say .NO, NO, NO, with great gusto and enthusiasm. Also practice other versions of a saying no, such as .Gee, I wish I could. I would have loved to at any other time. Gosh, it.s a shame that I won.t be able to. If you are a real sucker for intrusion, do not answer your telephone. Leave a message on your answering machine instead that say, Hi. I'm out getting a meaningful life. Leave a positive and supportive message to wish me well! The fourth chakra governs our ability to give and receive love. When balanced we feel part of things, generous and loving. We feel physically peaceful and serene. When our heart chakra is imbalanced we feel lonely, unloved, and unlovable. To bring balance to your heart, surprise someone with a half-dozen addressed, stamped postcards ready to send to their closest friends and family. Then all they have to do is jot a quick note of love and appreciation and drop it in the mailbox. Have trouble speaking up or do you feel like you.re not being heard? Have really good ideas but hate to fight to get a word in edgewise? That's a fifth chakra imbalance, center of personal expression. Nothing activates the throat chakra like an open heart, and nothing opens the heart faster than singing. Sing in the shower, sing while you're walking down the street. Bring breath into your lungs and vibrate the sound through your whole body, bringing with it healing energy. Make positive predictions throughout your day. And once a day, practice saying, "I am" and filling in the blank with a truth of who you really are and who you really want to be. The sixth energy center, located between your eyebrows, is the center of your personal vision. It influences our ability to see the world and ourselves clearly and without negativity. Remind yourself of the beauty and abundance of the world with a magnificently displayed bowl of fresh fruit, a beautiful photo or work of art, or a meditation garden. There is nothing more soothing to the spirit than an aquarium full of tropical fish. Even a few goldfish in a bowl are fascinating to watch and reconnect you to the subtle and gloriously beautiful world of nature. Your connection to spirit is located in your seventh energy center, or crown chakra. It focuses your attention on the spiritual meaning of your life. To reconnect with spirit, open your eyes, ears and heart for signs of spirit all around you. Pay attention to the miracles unfolding before your eyes--the first buds of spring, the first harvests of summer. In the morning, consciously bless yourself, thanking God for giving you one more day to enjoy the world around you. Talk to God every day, and ask God to redirect your life, helping you moment to moment find your way to the highest possible good.

Adult - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Adult - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Adult From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation , search This article is about the human developmental stage. For the adult insect stage, see Imago . For the band, see ADULT . For the 2008 British film by Noel Clarke see Adulthood (film) . The term adult has three distinct meanings. Firstly it indicates a grown man or woman. It may also mean a plant or animal that has reached full growth, or one who is legally of age; as opposed to a minor . Adulthood can be defined in terms of biology , psychological adult development , law , personal character, or social status. These different aspects of adulthood are often inconsistent and contradictory. A person may be biologically an adult, and have adult behavioral characteristics but still be treated as a child if they are under the legal age of majority. Conversely one may legally be an adult but possess none of the maturity and responsibility that define adult character. BHAVESH Coming of age is the event; passing a series of tests to demonstrate the child is prepared for adulthood; or reaching a specified age, sometimes in conjunction with demonstrating preparation. Most modern societies determine legal adulthood based on reaching a legally-specified age without requiring a demonstration of physical maturity or preparation for adulthood. Although adult education simply means education for adults, not particularly sex education , "adult" also means "not considered suitable for children ," in particular as a euphemism for being related to sexual behaviour . Some propose that moving into adulthood involves an emotional structuring of denial. This process becomes necessary to cope with one's own behaviour, especially in uncomfortable situations, and also the behaviour of others. Contents 1 Biological adulthood 2 Legal adulthood 3 Personal characteristics 4 See also 5 References 6 External links [ edit ] Biological adulthood Adulthood is generally understood as the time when physical maturation is complete. One reaches their maximum height and secondary sex characteristics form such as body hair and facial hair , voice lowers in pitch (especially noticeable in men), and menses begin (women). Natural sleep patterns change in adulthood, as adults typically require less sleep than during adolescence . One aspect people do not specify is what (psychologically) an adult is. A common theory is that adulthood is the real test of life, to experience the world from a first-person standpoint instead of through the parents. Then the adult can pass those experiences down to younger people and they can experience them when they become adults. [ edit ] Legal adulthood Main article: Age of majority Legally it means that one can engage in a contract . The same or a different minimum age may be applicable to, for example, parents losing parenting rights and duties regarding the person concerned, parents losing financial responsibility, marriage , voting , having a job , being a soldier , buying/possessing firearms (if legal at all), driving , traveling abroad, involvement with alcoholic beverages (if legal at all), smoking , sex , gambling (both lottery and casino ) being a prostitute or a client of a prostitute (if legal at all), being a model or actor in pornography , etc. Admission of a young person to a place may be restricted because of danger for that person, and/or because of the risk that the young person causes damage (for example, at an exhibition of fragile items). One can distinguish the legality of acts of a young person, and of enabling a young person to carry out that act, by selling, renting out, showing, permitting entrance, participating, etc. There may be distinction between commercially and socially enabling. Sometimes there is the requirement of supervision by a legal guardian , or just by an adult. Sometimes there is no requirement, but just a recommendation. With regard to pornography one can distinguish: being allowed inside an adult establishment being allowed to purchase pornography being allowed to possess pornography another person being allowed to sell, rent out, or show the young person pornography, see disseminating pornography to a minor being a model or actor in pornography: rules for the young person, and for other people, regarding production, possession, etc. (see child pornography ) With regard to films with violence, etc.: another person being allowed to sell, rent out, or show the young person the film, a cinema being allowed to let the young person (under 17) enter The legal definition of entering adulthood usually varies between ages 15â€"21, depending on the region in question. Some cultures in Africa define adult at age 13. According to Jewish tradition, adulthood is reached at age 13 (the age of the Bar Mitzvah ), for Jewish boys, for example, were expected to demonstrate preparation for adulthood by learning the Torah and other Jewish practices. The Christian Bible and Jewish scripture has no age requirement for adulthood or marrying , which includes engaging in sexual activity . According to The Disappearance of Childhood by Neil Postman , the Christian Church of the Middle Ages considered the age of accountability, when a person could be tried and even executed as an adult, to be age 7 . In most of the world, including the United States , the United Kingdom , India and China , the legal adult age is 18, with some exceptions: Iran and Singapore (21) Indonesia and Japan (20) South Korea & British Columbia , New Brunswick , Newfoundland and Labrador , Northwest Territories , Nova Scotia , Nunavut , Yukon Territory in Canada (19) [ edit ] Personal characteristics There are some qualities that symbolize adultness in most cultures. There is not always a correlation between the qualities and the physical age of the person. The adult character comprises: Self-control - restraint, emotional control. Stability - stable personality, strength. Independence - ability to self-regulate. Seriousness - ability to deal with life in a serious manner. Responsibility - accountability, commitment and reliability. Method/Tact - ability to think ahead and plan for the future, patience. Endurance - ability and willingness to cope with difficulties that present themselves. Experience - breadth of mind, understanding. Objectivity - perspective and realism. Decision making capability - as all of the above correspond to making proper decisions. Dating is Murder

Because of her friends and the lack of income from her Good Golly Miss Wollies greeting card artistry, Wollstonecraft "Wollie" Shelley is a contestant on the new reality TV show Biological Clock. Her two pals entered her name and key stats, big chest, big legs, big bod and she was accepted as the perfect six foot contrast to the other female contestants. Wollie would trade in her fifteen minutes of Warhol fame for money so she agrees to the opportunity. Three women date three men with the audience deciding who should mate and produce the next generation. While dating on the air, Wollie's math tutor Annika vanishes. Unable to stay out of the situation, Wollie finds LAPD lacking interest in the case except for a cop wanting to take her out. So Wollie decides to look for the busy Annika, who besides teaching works as a production assistant and as an au pair for an Encino superwoman. As she makes some fumbling progress, a stalker warns Wollie to back off or else. Being Wollie and attracted to the stalker, she chooses or else. Chick lit meets amateur sleuth in Southern California. Wollie is as irreverent as ever though her dates seem a bit livelier than her previous appearance (see DATING DEAD MEN). The story line never takes itself seriously as it spoofs reality TV, chick lit novels, and amateur sleuth who-done-its. The cast starting with Wollie, but also her friends, her TV dates, the stalker, and the missing Annika come together to provide a humorous take on DATING IS MURDER.
